Περί κλοπής...("On theft...")
("I got in on the 4-23-50, i get out on the 4-8-57")
- "So, if you grab a 1000, it is considered theft to the degree of minor misdemeanor and you get a month. If you grab 100.000 it is considered theft to the degree of misdemeanor and you might get up to 4. If you grab 10.000.000 it is called embezzlement, thus, upon agreement of the prosecutor and interrogator, you dodge the interrogation. If you grab 100.000.000 it is called abuse of trust and, to the degree of a fellony after all, the trial is postponed and you get out via ruling. If you grab 500.000.000, it is called a contract and you get congratulated...go deeper into billions and trillions it is called currency exportation and you get a medal!!
- Yeap!

Photography's real purpose
I think it's about time i engaged in a more creative and healing process related to the photographic medium.
To tell you the truth, after years of shedding light to the unconscious with the camera at hand, trying to recognize forms out of the darkness, i realized that photography is being mislead at its core by various interests of no interest! (mine included)
Enjoy this transormative channel of critical thought about what we all love. Photography...(now, more than ever...he, he!) - I cannot imagine how many other links i will find to share with you guys...

Some Text
Atalotata-Images is a blog edited by freelance photographer and therapist Haralab.
Born in Athens in 1975, he devoured infinite film cans as an early artist and stretched godjillions of pixels as a freelance pro. Using a german Werra, some Zeniths, Kievs, Zorkis and Nikkormats he exhibited in squats, cafes and festivals and sneaked in as many arising photo-groups in mid 90's down-town Athens as he could, acquiring a critical mind and technical competency as a self-taught.
He holds a BA in marketing, a photography diploma (while in military service), completed an MBA in entrepreneurial management, and enjoys life also as a certified alternative therapist.
After leaving the marketing junkyard in 2003 he worked as a benefited unemployed before starting off as a studio assistant doing mainly catalogues and a bit of fashion - without ever being allowed to touch the Hasselblad though...!
While blending in with night-life freaks while in agency payroll, opened a private studio space in central Athens in 2006. Too busy to work in closed walls, shut it down in 2007, and engaged in gaining experience in various thematic fields year after year, thus undertaking projects in advertising, portrait, wedding and hotel photography.
He is currently promoting personal projects revolving around self-publishing, collective activism, documentary photography and mixed media while trying to archive his images. While doing this he tries to find a way to throw a big party for his friends and travel on Gaia in a VW camper.
He lives with Anna and little Ariadne in sunny southern Sweden.
P.S.
Haralab always welcomes new and interesting projects as well as models that feel free to express their individuality on camera. Whatever the assighnment you are interested in, let me know in good time's notice.
